1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the iMalware website and services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
iMalware provides a free, browser-based malware detection tool that computes cryptographic hashes of user-selected files and compares them against a database of known malware signatures. Files are processed entirely within the user's browser; no file content is transmitted to our servers.
3. No Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. iMalware does not guarantee that the Service will detect all malware, be uninterrupted, or be error-free. A clean scan result does not guarantee that a file is safe.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, iMalware and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.
5. Use Restrictions
You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes but is not limited to: attempting to disrupt or overload the Service infrastructure, using automated tools to excessively query the database, reverse engineering or extracting the malware signature database, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and branding of the iMalware website and Service are the intellectual property of iMalware and its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written consent.
7. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which iMalware operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
